AFR PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy explains how AFR collects and utilizes personal information when you register for our e-mail newsletter, complete the fields on the "Contact Us" page, or make a secure online donation to AFR.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
Some information collection is required to receive AFR e-mail blasts and to receive a response to an email inquiry.  The information that you provide when registering for the AFR e-mail blast newsletter or when completing the fields on the "Contact Us" page consists of your first and last name, and your email address.  The only required information is your email address.  Other than your first and last name, the information you provide when making a secure online donation is not provided to AFR, but rather, to Bank of America so that the bank can process your donation.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
AFR uses your name and e-mail address to deliver the AFR e-mail blast newsletter, which contains content such as breaking news about AFR, information about an upcoming AFR event (such as a film festival, screenwriting contest or training workshop), information about a non-AFR film event in which you might be interested, and movie ticket promotions.  As explained above, the financial information you provide on the Bank of America page when making a secure online donation to AFR is not transmitted to AFR. 

DO THIRD PARTIES HAVE ACCESS TO THE PERSONAL INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE AFR?
AFR does not sell, rent or share your personal information to any organization or third party.  AFR makes every effort to ensure that your name and email address remain confidential and are not shared with any organization or party outside AFR unless you have requested otherwise.  Occasionally, AFR  provides links (via the website or the e-blast newsletter) to outside websites for your interest and convenience.  AFR cannot be and is not responsible for the content, privacy or security pertaining to these websites.  As always, do not provide your personal information on these or any other website without first ensuring that your privacy and, when applicable, security are protected.
